Kings ready for another clash with Centennials

Despite Saturday being just the 4th game of an 8 game exhibition season for the Prince George Spruce Kings, it will be their final contest inside the RMCA.

The team will play host to the Merritt Centennials Saturday before finishing the exhibition season on the road for four games.

This will be the 4th meeting between the two squads and the Kings own a 2-1 record against Merritt.

However, the road team has won every game so far between the two which includes a 2-1 victory for Merritt almost two weeks ago at the RMCA.

The Kings line-up will look a little different Saturday, though with a number of additions.

Both members of the Prince George Cougars, who were loaned to the Kings, Connor Bowie and Aiden Reeves will draw into the line-up for the Spruce Kings.

So will 18-year-old Austin Spiridakis, who was acquired from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the off-season.

Puck drop between the Spruce Kings and the Centennials is Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the RMCA.

Fans will not be permitted at the game.
