McBride records first COVID case

MCBRIDE — One person is self isolating in McBride after testing positive for COVID-19. It is the first confirmed case of the virus within the village. In a release, McBride Council wrote all precations and protocols have been followed and contact tracing is taking place.

Bylaw Information Officers have been conduction an assessment of the village’s preparedness for the second wave of COVID-19 in conjugation with snowmobile season. A “Recommended Best Practices” document is being drawn up.
