Football hoping to grow in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Kodiaks Football Club is bringing a new program to the Northern Capital, intended as a way to provide football players in our region to get out and active during the winter months.
“We’re looking for players in Grades 2 to 7, all elementary school-aged. The sessions run one session a week for an hour and a half on Sundays,” explained Craig Briere, President of the Organization.
“Really, it’s to give them a fun opportunity to come out, try football in a safe and fun atmosphere, and at the end of the day teach them things like catching and running. It’s just to give them an opportunity to have fun. With everything that’s been going on in the world, we need to have a little more outlets for kids to have fun.”
