Sadly, seven more deaths bringing the provincial death toll to 1,038.

Henry says the vaccine rollout continues, noting 69,746 people have now been vaccinated in B.C.

She said there are now four known cases of the UK variant strain of COVID-19 in B.C., three of those cases are linked to one person.

Henry says there is also one known case of the South African variant as well. She says that person did not travel to South Africa and as a result says the investigation continues.
