35 more cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health

PRINCE GEORGE – BC Health Officials are reporting another 35 cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health while BC provincially reported another 429 cases of the virus.

There have been eight more deaths associated with the virus for a total of 1,218 since the beginning of the pandemic.

As of Tuesday afternoon 10 of the new cases reported were epi-linked cases, for a total of 68,366 cases in British Columbia since the pandemic began.

Active cases have increased by 408 now sitting at 4,542 active cases across the province.

There are 294 in hospital with COVID-19 an increase of five since Monday afternoon, and three more people in the province are in critical care from Monday’s update for a total of 82.

To date, BC has administered over 140,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, with 5,097 who have received their second doses.
