Cariboo Hockey celebrates 10 players committing to next level
PRINCE GEORGE – In a year where there were games, no parents in the stands, no scouts, and no travel, the Cariboo Cougars are still managing to find means to celebrate with 10 players committing to the next level.
The Cariboo Cougars are sending five players to the Western Hockey League. Fischer O’Brien and Caden Brown will be joining up with the Prince George Cougars. Owen Palfreyman with the Calgary Hitmen and has already played a few games with the Central Division already playing. Scott Cousins will be dressing for the Kelowna Rockets this season, and Hayden Smith with the Saskatoon Blades out East.
Three players have moved on to the BCHL ranks, with Linden Makow staying put in Prince George with the Spruce Kings and both Jaydon Merritt and Brady McIsaac signing with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
