Golf continues record-breaking numbers into second consecutive summer
PRINCE GEORGE – Golf Courses saw record breaking numbers last year, being one of few Covid-friendly sports available.
Despite the pandemic slowing down and more sports returning to play, golf could actually see an increase according to Ann Holmes, Golf Pro at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club.
“Well last year golf seemed to be one of the only Covid-friendly activities that people could do, so we saw an uptick in golf in general and I think people really got into it again. So this year [we’re] anticipating this continued uptick with our second covid summer.”
