COVID-19 case count remains low in northern B.C.

VICTORIA — No new cases of COVID-19 in northern B.C. reported today by the provincial government.
However there were 45 provincially, the majority of them, 19, in the Interior Health region.
There are 661 active cases of the virus, including 30 in the Northern Health region. A total of 73 people are in hospital province-wide, 19 of whom are in intensive care.
As for vaccinations, 79.7 per cent (3,448,642) of all eligible adults in B.C. and 78.6 per cent (3,643,110) of those 12 and older have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
