One new case of COVID-19 in northern B.C.

VICTORIA — Forty-five new cases of COVID-19 in B.C., including one up north.

A total of 79.5 per cent of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 49.9 per cent are fully vaccinated.

When it comes to adults, 80.6 per cent in B.C. have received their first dose and 53.2 per cent received their second dose.

There are 652 active cases of the virus province-wide, including 29 in the Northern Health region.
