Weapons and counterfeit cash bust in Fort St.James

FORT ST. JAMES — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Fort St. James in connection with a robbery last month.

The arrest occurred Dec.14 and the robbery occurred two days earlier. While conducting a search, police located a large sum of counterfeit Canadian money along with a prohibited weapon and bear spray.

The suspect was released for a future court date on March 7. The man’s name has not been released.
