Quesnel stabbing suspect charged

QUESNEL- Police in Quesnel have arrested a man suspected to be involved in a stabbing that occurred on Wednesday.

Charges of Aggravated Assault and two counts of Carry a weapon for a dangerous purpose have been approved for 44-year-old Leif Myltoft of Quesnel. Both the victim and suspect are known to each other.

The victim was sent to the hospital in need of urgent medical attention after he was found on the 400 Block of Reid Street shortly after 5:30 pm.
