Upper Fraser Road crash claims one life

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: RCMP have confirmed that one person died in this morning’s crash. The person’s name will not be released. The road remains closed and will open later. Check Drive BC for updates.

Earlier: Police are responding to a serious collision that occurred just before 8 a.m. this morning on Upper Fraser Road near the Willow River community. The road is expected to be closed for several hours due to ongoing investigations. As of yet, no detour is available.

RCMP says it involved a logging truck and one other vehicle.
