Cougars goalie selected for CHL Top Prospects Game

PRINCE GEORGE — A big honour for Prince George Cougars goaltender Tyler Brennan.

The 2003-born goalie has been invited to participate in the 2022 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Kitchener Ontario.

Brennan is one of 15 WHL players chosen to participate. The 18- year-old has played in 27 games this season and has a 9-16-1-1 record, 3.32 goals-against average and .906 save percentage. He also has three shutouts which is tied for second in the WHL.

Brennan is the first Cougars goalie to be invited to the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game since former goalie Tyler Gauthier participated in the event in 2019 in Red Deer.
