Break and enter suspects arrested on scene in Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN — Two people have been arrested on scene after they allegedly broke into the Aboriginal Education Centre in Fort St. John, according to a news release Friday (June 17).

On June 9 around 1 a.m., the Fort St John RCMP received a report that two individuals stole from the centre after breaking into the building.

Police officers attended and immediately located and arrested one man that officers say were near stolen items.

Officers located a woman nearby who was known to the arrested man.

The two were both arrested for break and enter and released with conditions and a court date.
