PRINCE GEORGE- The BCNE is known for its food, its rides, its games and its shops. However, out at the rodeo grounds of the CN Centre, you will find the SuperDogs.

“We are a company that has been around for 43 years,” said Josh Wood, the production manager for the SuperDogs. “We have a set of trainers that we pick from local groups like where we perform every city, and then we bring them in, invite them down to come out here and just play with us.”

While the BCNE has been around for 110 years, the SuperDogs are still new to Prince George, but The community has made an excellent first impression.

“This is our fourth year here, so it’s been pretty great. Obviously, we were off the last couple of years, so we were just super happy to be back here for this year,” said Wood.

The Superdogs invited the crowd down to meet the dogs after the show. The hope is to inspire those to get involved.

“We always say any dog can be a super dog. So people could be watching, you know, a pug running around here, and they have a dog at home, and they get that connection,” said Wood.

“Most of our dogs are rescues, and they come from different situations. And with a lot of time, patience, and training, it’s incredible what they’re capable of,” said Stephanie Stanton-Linder, a trainer with the SuperDogs.

The show had dogs jumping, racing and fetching, showcasing different breeds, including dalmatians, chihuahuas and labs.
