Hart Highway northbound reopens following serious crash

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: RCMP have reopened the road after this afternoon’s motor vehicle incident on the Hart Highway.

The two occupants of the pick-up truck were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

“Thank you to the drivers who took alternate routes to give first responders room to work safely while they attended to the victims of this incident,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Earlier: A motor vehicle incident has closed the Hart Highway northbound.

The Prince George RCMP say it involved a pickup truck and has closed both lanes of the highway northbound at Noranda Road.
