PRINCE GEORGE – It was a positive presentation from Administration on the progress with the Canfor Leisure Pool.

The Director of Recreation and Events Andy Beesley noted that, while the project has been challenged with supply chain issues, it is nearly complete and done with a tight budget.

The rapidly rising rates of inflation were also of concern, with construction costs rising at a rate of five percent per month. Had the project started today, the cost would be in $50 to $60 million range.
