PRINCE GEORGE — Mark the evening of October 22 on your calendar.

That’s the night the city will throw a free party at CN Centre to honour the work of frontline workers over the past two-and-a-half years.

It will feature the music of Calgary’s Duelling Piano Kings and free food – including hot dogs, popcorn, and pop.

You can reserve a maximum of four free tickets starting Thursday at 10 a.m. through ticketsnorth.ca.

It is an all-ages event, with reserved seats in the bleachers, and standing room on the arena floor.

“This is going to be a grand good-time celebration, as we acknowledge the amazing work of our local frontline workers, and people who have stepped up in Prince George. We are grateful for the financial support of the Government of Canada, and the Department of Canadian Heritage, for enabling this celebration to occur,” says Management-Entertainment Glen Mikkelsen.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. The event is funded by the Government of Canada.
