Noise at Masich Place Stadium prompts man to seek council seat
PRINCE GEORGE — Richard Cook wants a seat at the city council table for one main reason – to address what he calls “excessive noise” coming from events at Masich Place Stadium.
Cook lives behind the stadium in the Seymour subdivision and says he and his neighbours are all “fed up with it.”
“Even though I’ve been after the city for over a year to lower the volume. I also did some reviewing on how noise effects young and older people and noise decibels between 80 and 90 can damage your ears.”
Lately, the concerts at the CN Centre raised his hackles. He says the City should shut down the concerts at that location as they generate too much noise too.
