School District Trustee candidate Cory Antrim wants to help kids “Buy into school”

PRINCE GEORGE- Cory Antrim is the latest to be featured as a candidate for school district trustee.

Running with the idea that more funding for afterschool programs such as sports and clubs will help students buy into school, Antrim has spent the last ten years working within the district as a coach, assistant and teacher, and hopes that experience can help him earn a seat.

“There’s a lot of issues that are going on in our school district right now, and a lot of it could be alleviated if we had more funding directed towards sports and extracurricular activities and clubs and school things that engage students and keep them there and make them interested in being there,” said Antrim.

Election day is October 15.
