Serious injuries following two-vehicle MVI on Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE —Update: The highway has reopened.

Earlier: Prince George Mounties say a two-vehicle collision on the Hart Highway this afternoon has led to “serious injuries.”

Police say the collision occurred at around 4 p.m. and involved a logging truck and another vehicle.

As a result, Highway 97 is closed between Weisbrod Road and Nordic Drive. A detour is available via Austin Road to Foothills to Chief Lake Road.
