Winter weather has arrived

PRINCE GEORGE — The snow is here, and Prince George is in for a lot of it. As of 4 pm, the city is still under a snowfall warning.

Enivronment and Climate Change Canada says that we can expect 15 to 20 centimeters of snow between Thursday and Friday. This system bringing this weather is part of a an atmospheric river, that is bringing rain to the south coast of BC. Wind gusts could reach up to 60 kilometers per hour.

Cpl. Jennifer Cooper with the Prince George RCMP is reminding drivers to slow down and take extra time to get where you need to go.
