PRINCE GEORGE- It’s been a busy week at the Prince George Public Library, announcing a brand new program to help students with their studies.

“This is a new program that we’re running at the Prince George Public Library to sort of partner with and support the homework help program we’ve had for several years,” Christopher Knapp, the Youth Community Engagement Librarian.

The Homework help program requires a schedule, while no appointment is necessary with the new study hall program.

“On Saturdays between 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A drop-in space for those who need help with their homework and a grade level could come in and sit down and be offered support,” said Knapp.

Another exciting event in the library, the fall book sale, is right across the hallway.

The books are bought by donation, money towards a good cause.

“The money we make at the book sale goes back to the library for programming, special events, or whatever they need,” said Margaret Johnston, the former president of Freinds of the Library.

The general public is invited to the book sale tomorrow, Saturday, November 5th, from ten until three.
