Prince George Outdoor Ice Oval getting ready to open

PRINCE GEORGE — With the cold weather and snow now here in Prince George, the outdoor ice oval is getting ready to open its doors to skaters.

The Prince George Outdoor Ice Oval held an open house on Saturday to sell season passes and punch cards for skate rentals.

The oval is planning to open up next week weather permitting and the society has been flooding the oval since the start of the cold weather. They are anticipating near normal operations this year with access to skate rentals and the Canfor House to warm up and put your skates on.
