One person sent to hospital following encampment fire in front of RDFFG building

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a fire tonight (Nov.19) at 1st Avenue and George Street just before 5:30 p.m.

The fire originated in the encampment in front of the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George building.

According to a City of Prince George news release, crews arrived to find “three tent-like structures in flames.”
