RCMP investigating break and enter on Carmel Drive

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are investigating an overnight break and enter at a gas station in Beaverley.

Just after 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a gas station on the 11400 block of Carmel Drive. After arriving on scene, officers were told that a man and woman had broken in through a door and were seen inside the building.

According to Cpl. Jennifer Cooper with the Prince George RCMP, the male suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing dark clothing and a red ball cap. The female suspect was also wearing dark clothing and a long dark winter coat, and has dark coloured hair.

Cooper also says that the suspects were seen taking numerous items from the store including several boxes of snacks, fireworks, cigars, cigarettes, as well as empty propane tanks. Witnesses say they saw the suspects fleeing west on Highway 16.
