Gas prices on the decline in the North
PRINCE GEORGE — After months of record breaking gas prices across the province, prices are now on the decline.
If you own a car, you know that the last few months have been painful at the pump, with prices reaching levels rarely seen before in BC. However, in the last couple of weeks, prices have declined and drivers can expect to see those prices last into the holiday season.
Today, the BC Liberals have announced that they will introduce legislation to provide relief from high gas prices that will temporarily suspend provincial gas taxes, as well as suspend the hidden taxes on gas being imported from Alberta.
