United Way of Northern BC kicks off Tree of Lights Campaign

PRINCE GEORGE- For over 40 years United Way has been in Northern BC, and for the past four, they’ve been the group behind the massive Christmas Tree of Lights adorning the top of the Coast Hotel, and it’s that time of year once again.

The Tree of Lights will be on-top of the Coast Hotel from now until Christmas, it’s rows and rows of lights being lit up one at a time over the weeks to come as donations pour in, and the people of Prince George band together to help United Way of Northern BC, reach their fundraising goal of $85,000.

The work done by United Way couldn’t happen without the strong support of their corporate sponsors. Over the many decades that United Way has been in Northern BC, Canfor has been right there with them, through thick and thin, and for the past two years, have been the Star Sponsor of the Tree of Lights.
