Plaid Friday is here

PRINCE GEORGE — Today is Plaid Friday in Prince George and stores in the downtown core are ready for an influx of shoppers.

Plaid Friday is an alternative to Black Friday, and the campaign hopes to promote downtown and local businesses, especially as many start their Christmas shopping.

The event will continue into the evening and the Plaid Patrol will be out handing out prizes for those wearing plaid. They will be on patrol from 4 to 6 p.m.
