Heavy snow expected for Prince George area Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Prince George highlighting that heavy snow is expected in the region.

A period of heavy snow and blowing snow is set to hit the city as a cold front is forecast to cross Prince George early this evening (November 26).

Environment Canada is forecasting five to 10 centimentres of snow across many parts of B.C.

Drivers are reminded to use extra caution when the roads endure blowing snow conditions.
