PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory for Prince George.

The national forecaster says poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected or occurring in some locations. It’s expected to start tonight and continue through Wednesday.

“A low pressure system moving across the southern interior will give northerly winds of 40 gusting to 60 km/h. Gusty winds will give poor visibilities at times,” says Environment Canada. “Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.”
