PRINCE GEORGE — The students at Cedars Christian School are all getting together for a good cause, they have been collecting food, partnering with a local church, as part of a drive to help the hungry in our community.

Students here at Cedars Christian have been coming together the past few weeks to collect food for the hungry and less fortunate in our community. Vice-Principal Terence Wall of Cedars Christian says that they partnered with the New Life Centre because the need was great. Marlene Spiker, who is a director at the New Life Center, says that when donations are brought in through food drives, the impact is lasting.

The New Life Centre has around only 8 to 10 volunteers full time and they have been in the community for well over fifty years and provide other services to people in the community. Marlene says that they are always looking for food donations and whatever they get goes to someone needing food almost immediately.
