Little change on the jobs front in November

The economy added a modest 10-thousand jobs in November,making for little change in employment across the board.

Prince George’s jobless rate climbed to 4.2 percent last month from 3.5 percent the previous month . We saw a slight decrease in full-time employment , but a slight increase in part time work year over year.

BC’s unemployment rate rose to 4.4. percent in November from 4.2 percent in October,while the national unemployment rate fell from 5.2 per cent in October to 5.1 per cent last month.
