Kids at UHNBC Pediatric ward get a visit from Santa

PRINCE GEORGE — Children in the pediatric ward at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia got a special visitor today, one bringing presents and joy along.

The kids got to meet Santa Claus himself, and also received an early Christmas gift. Due to Covid-19, Santa wasn’t able to make the journey until this year.

Sarah Christensen, a child life specialist at UHNBC, says that around 18 kids in the unit got to visit with Santa and also got a present.
