Prince George to enter a week long deep freeze

PRINCE GEORGE — A prolonged period of extreme cold will be arriving in the Prince George area tonight.

After a couple of weeks of average season temperatures, Prince George and Northern BC will be entering a deep freeze, with temperatures dropping to minus 22 tonight, and a high of minus 30 expected by next Wednesday.

With the extreme temperatures, everyone is reminded to take caution when heading outside as there will be an increased risk of frostbite.
