Xmas tree recycling at CN Centre parking lot Jan.7-8

PRINCE GEORGE — An option if you’re looking to recycle your Christmas tree.

On January 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can drop off your natural tree at the CN Centre parking lot near the intersection of 18th Avenue and Ospika Boulevard.

The trees must have all tinsel and decorations removed. The city’s park division will chip the trees and reuse it in local parks this spring.

There’s no cost for the recycling but event organizers Job’s Daughters, are accepting donations.
