Operation Red Nose available on New Year’s Eve
PRINCE GEORGE — New Year’s Eve is tomorrow and many will be celebrating the official start to 2023, but getting people home safely is still a priority for Operation Red Nose.
After a two year break, Operation Red Nose will be providing designated driving services on New Year’s Eve. Volunteers can pick you up and drive you home safely in your own vehicle. Operation Red Nose is available within the city of Prince George to anyone that does not feel safe to drive their own vehicle after New Years Celebrations.
Ken Pentergast, with Operation Red Nose says that they will not be able to operate at full capacity due to a less volunteers this year, but that the operation will still be out and available on New Years Eve. He also wants to remind everyone that if Operation Red Nose cannot pick you up, there are other services available to get you home safely.
If you need to access the service phone 250 962-RIDE, and be ready at a designated time and location, and they will respond to your request as soon as possible.
