22nd annual Ness Lake Bible Camp Polar Bear Dip a huge success
PRINCE GEORGE — On New Year’s Day, Ness Lake Bible Camp held it’s 22nd annual polar bear dip, raising money to send kids to camp.
Dayna Penson, program director, says that the event was a rousing success, with over 78 people taking the plunge into the icy waters and they raised over $31,000 dollars to send kids to camp.
Dayna says that the donations raised will allow over 100 kids to come to camp, and she looks forward to seeing the joy on their faces when they arrive. The bible camp is grateful to have such strong support from the community as well as their corporate sponsors.
