Lotto players from the North won big in 2022

PRINCE GEORGE — Lottery players in northern B.C. won big in 2022.

According to the BC Lottery Corporation, players who purchased tickets up north won a total of $58.4 million dollars.

A total of $9.3 million winning tickets were sold in the north with 10 grand prize winning tickets sold, valued at $500,000 or more.

In 2021/22, BCLC says it delivered $1.3 billion in net income to the provincial government, which distributed it in many ways to benefit residents.
