Northern BC Crime Stoppers receives record number of tips in 2022

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern BC Crime Stoppers received a record number of tips in 2022.

The organization says 1,211 people called in with tips, bringing the total number of tips since Crime Stoppers inception 37 years ago to 21,609.

Since Northern Crime Stoppers launched in 1985, tips from the public have led to the seizure of $35,557,709 worth of drugs, $558,147 in cash, while $3,283,451 in property has been recovered.
