58-year-old man facing multiple charges following firearms complaint

PRINCE GEORGE — A 58-year-old man was arrested following a firearms complaint at a local motel over the weekend.

Prince George RCMP responded to the complaint at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at a motel on the 2300 block of Northwood Pulpmill Road.

Police were advised that a man residing at the motel threatened two people with what appeared to be a firearm.

The suspect, Kevin Leroy Shore, was arrested without incident and taken into police custody.

He’s facing multiple charges including:

RCMP say the file remains under investigation and say there were no injuries reported during this incident.

Shore has been remanded in custody where he will stay until his next court appearance.

He is known to police.
