Cougars complete deadline deal with Hitmen

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars and Calgary Hitmen have made a deal on trade deadline day.
The Cats ship forward Carter MacAdams, a second round pick this year, next year and a fourth rounder next year for forward Zac Funk.
Funk has 32 points in 33 games this season and 45 penalty minutes while MacAdams has 21 points in 36 games along with 32 penalty minutes.
“Zac is the type of player we were looking for at the deadline,” said GM & Head Coach Mark Lamb. “He’s got experience, he can score, and plays a heavy physical game.”
