RCMP investigating weekend assault and kidnapping at Moccasin Flats

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties are investigating a weekend assault and kidnapping.

Prince George RCMP say it happened at Moccasin Flats early Sunday morning.

The victim alleged he was assaulted in a temporary structure. Twenty-year-old Noah Damien Basil-Tom and 25-year-old Daryn James Middleton were arrested and are facing multiple charges:

Noah Damien Basil-Tom:

• Aggravated assault
• Kidnapping
• Forcible confinement
• Fail to comply with probation

• Kidnapping
• Forcible confinement
• Fail to comply with probation

RCMP say the victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Both suspects are known to police and will remain in custody until their next court appearance.
