Planned water outage for Southridge area

PRINCE GEORGE — A water outage is planned for tomorrow (Jan.13) in the Southridge area.

The city says it will respond to a water main break at 7051 Southridge Avenue starting at 7 a.m. It means nearly 300 properties will be without water for about 10 hours.

The area includes nearly the entirety of the Southridge neighbourhood from Southridge Avenue South of St. Anthony Crescent to the St. Dennis Heights area.

“The area surrounding the main, built in 1992, will be excavated to allow crews to access the break. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route, although local single-alternating traffic will be permitted,” says the city.
