Pair arrested following B & E in Mackenzie

MACKENZIE — Two people, a 28-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, are facing charges following a break and enter in Mackenzie.

RCMP say the break-and-enter occurred at a local business just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan.10).

“Police located the suspect vehicle and arrested the two occupants, both of whom were known to police. The man and woman were subsequently arrested and held for further investigation. The man was also found to be on conditions of no contact with the woman.,” says S/Sgt. Kris Clark with BC RCMP Communications Services.

RCMP say the woman has since been released while the man was remanded for court.
