PRINCE GEORGE – The twentieth annual Natural Resources Forum has wrapoped and it was a record-breaker.

“It has been it has been record numbers. We’ve had over 1400 people through this building since Tuesday. And it has been crazy. I mean, you can hear the noise in the background,” says Sarah Weber, President & CEO of C# Alliance Corp. “People are running all over the place trying to have meetings and get caught up. I’ve had different mayors say to me they’ve gotten one done in two days and they have two months.”

The Natural Resources Forum is a chance to rub elbows, unlike via Zoom. It brings together business owners, large and small, CEO’s of major businesses, First Nations and politicians.

“You know, it’s just it’s a really amazing time to bring together the leadership from industry, from indigenous governments, local area government and the province. And so, you know, we really exemplified and we and we saw so many leaders coming over 35 chiefs of indigenous communities, different communities.”

While 1,400 delegates is a record number, most of it at the Conference and Civic Centre, there are options to grow the event.
