PG Men’s Shed providing social connections, skills for locals

PRINCE GEORGE – Whether you’re looking to learn new skills, build new social connections, or just have a chat over a cup of coffee the PG Men’s Shed does it all.

Community members have had the chance to join the new group in Prince George since December 2021 when it was created. Since that time, nearly 20 members have been regularly enjoying weekend mornings together.

“Essentially, the premise is supporting men doing projects, and socializing,” said Adejuwon Adeleye, a member of the PG Men’s Shed. “I enjoy building however, you know, my skill set in terms of building is pretty rudimentary, and some of the guys here have experience in building so just learning from different guys is just amazing.”

If you’re interested in joining the PG Men’s Shed you can reach out to the group through Facebook. Membership is only a $20 annual fee for men interested.
