PG Cougar named WHL Player of the Week

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Cougar Chase Wheatcroft has been named WHL player of the Week.

The forward scored four goals and added seven assists in four games last week.

He’ll enter tomorrow night’s game at CN Centre versus Saskatoon riding a 13-game point streak in which he’s picked up 11 goals and 15 assists.

Wheatcroft now has 34 goals and 40 assists in 50 games played.
