Wheatcroft signs entry level contract with Dallas Stars

PRINCE GEORGE — In the midst of a career year, Chase Wheatcroft has signed a three-year entry level contract with the Dallas Stars.

The 20 year old has put together one of the best regular season performances in club history. Tallying 47 goals and 104 points in just 65 games. Wheatcroft is the second player in franchise history to eclipse the 100-point mark.

“I want to thank my family, billet families, coaches, Universal Sports Management, my teammates, organization staff, and friends for all of their support and their help throughout my life,” said Wheatcroft in a news release.

The Calgary, AB native currently leads the entire CHL in power-play goals with 22 and is excited to soon join the Stars.
