Where and how you can vote in the SD57 by-election

PRINCE GEORGE — The School District has provided a notice of election in regards to the June by-election.

Providing information for the upcoming by-election in June, the notice of election has released information in regards to where and how you can vote in this by-election.

General voting day is on Saturday, June 17 from 8 am to 8 pm and will take place at the following locations:

  • Glenview Elementary School, 7310 Cluff Rd, Prince George, B.C. V2K 2M3
  • Heritage Elementary School, 257 Anderson St, Prince George, B.C. V2M 6C1
  • Malaspina Elementary School, 7900 Malaspina Blvd, Prince George, B.C, V2N 4A9
  • Pineview Elementary School, 8515 Old Cariboo Hwy, Prince George, B.C. V2N 5V2
  • Van Bien Training Centre, 311 Wilson Crescent, Prince George, B.C. V2L 4P8

In order to vote, you will need to produce two pieces of identification. Picture identification is not necessary.

Advance voting will take place at the School District 57 board office at 2100 Ferry Avenue on Wednesday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 13 between 8 am and 8 pm.

Mail in voting is also available for this by-election, and you must complete a request form in order to vote by mail. The request form can be found on the School District’s website, or you can pick one up at the School District office. Requests for a mail ballot package must be returned by 4 pm on May 31 and ballots must be received by the Chief Election Officer no later than 8 pm on June 17 in order to be counted. Mail ballot packages will be mailed to applicants as soon as ballots are available, commencing on or about Friday, May 26.
